For those new to the gorp-core aesthetic, Salomon is one of those outdoor brands specializing in gear for all sorts of activities, like hiking, trail running, skiing, and so much more. However, they’ve created a line of everyday sneakers that can take the average (and maybe not-so-active) person from school or work to walking in the park, and who knows? Perhaps an easy nature walk if they choose. The XT line has plenty of stylish silhouettes for any wardrobe. They’re all made with the brand’s coveted technology that features a snug yet comfortable fit, a deep-grip sole for traction, and the brand’s signature quick lace system that lets everyone know your shoes are, in fact, Salomons.
But the absolute best (in this sneakerhead’s humble opinion) is the XT-6, with the XT-Whisper coming in at a very close second. Now, you can get both new styles at Nordstrom, with some colorways on sale for well under $200. But like I said before, the fashion girlies are buying these by the boatload, so they’re selling out quickly. If you can still find your size, don’t hesitate to add them to your cart.
