About the JumpStart Retail Frontline Programme 2025
The Retail Frontline Programme (RFP) is an impactful initiative by the Mr Price Foundation designed to prepare matriculated youth for entry-level jobs in the retail industry. It offers a two-week work readiness course, combining both theoretical and practical training, and helps participants improve their chances of finding employment.
The programme includes:
- Online life skills course
- In-person training and job interview simulations
- One week of practical in-store experience
This programme is not a job guarantee, but it equips you with employability skills sought after in the retail sector.
Who Should Apply?
To qualify for the JumpStart Retail Frontline Programme, you must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Have Matric/Grade 12
- Be aged 18 to 33
- Be currently unemployed
- Have no criminal record
