Kaizer Chiefs unveiled three new signings. Their newest defender has been given his jersey number.
Kaizer Chiefs unveiled three new players – Nkanyiso Shinga (left back), Flavio Silva (striker) and Ethan Chislett (midfielder).
So, Amakhosi have handed their newest striker his new jersey number. Meanwhile, Chiefs have also unveiled Shinga’s Chiefs jersey number for the 2025/26 PSL campaign.
CHIEFS UNVEIL JERSEY NUMBER FOR SHINGA
25-year old defender, Shinga has been allocated the number 74 jersey.
“Player Announcements! We are pleased to announce the signing of 25-year old Nkanyiso Shinga,”
“The talented left-back is a versatile operator who can also play in midfield and attack. He will don jersey #74,” Chiefs confirmed in an official media release.
So, Silva (#77) and Shinga (#74) both have been allocated new jersey numbers. Meanwhile, new midfielder, Ethan Chislett, is yet to be given his new jersey.
Meanwhile, Chiefs are expected to unveil several more signings.
Currently Etiosa Ighodaro, Asanele Velebayi, Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane are all training with the Soweto giants.
AMAKHOSI SQUAD OVERHAUL SET TO CONTINUE
Chiefs have a whole team worth of new players – these 11 new players have reportedly joined the first team. This includes TWO European-based signings, FIVE promotions and FOUR players from PSL rivals.
Meanwhile, they are expected to sign these players from Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana.
In contrast, as mentioned, FIVE Amakhosi player departures have been confirmed. Whilst, a total of FIVE more Chiefs players are heading out of Naturena.
