The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) invites unemployed South African youth to apply for the Nature Conservation: Resource Guardianship NQF Level 2 Learnership Programme 2025.

Stipend: R3 500.00 per month
Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities Include
- Assisting in the conservation of biodiversity
- Monitoring and removing invasive vegetation
- Participating in fire, rehabilitation and restoration efforts
- Performing infrastructure maintenance, plant propagation, and administration
- Collecting data and contributing to conservation objectives
- Promoting community awareness and education
- Attending structured training and support sessions
Who Should Apply?
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be unemployed South Africans between the ages of 18 and 35
- Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Attach a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and certified copy of ID
- Provide valid proof of residence
- Reside in the Mpumalanga Province
- Not studying at any tertiary institution
- Not registered or previously participated in another learnership
- Be willing to work outdoors and engage in physical work
