MANILA, Philippines—Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla said former Negros Oriental congressman Arnolfo Teves, Jr. will not be given preferential treatment and that there will be no hospital arrest arrangement. Remulla said in a statement on Wednesday that Teves was cleared for discharge by the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) and is fit for incarceration.
