About the Programme
McCain Foods is offering an exciting 6-month graduate opportunity for a passionate and driven Environmental Management graduate to support its ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management System at the Delmas plant. The programme aims to equip graduates with hands-on experience in environmental compliance and sustainability within the food manufacturing sector.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Environmental Manager in maintaining and managing ISO14001:2015 compliance
- Coordinate environmental procedures, risk assessments, and internal/external audits
- Facilitate environmental awareness training and sustainability efforts (e.g., utilities MDI)
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on environmental performance
- Ensure operations align with environmental policies, legislation, and ISO standards
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Environmental Management
- Previous experience in the food industry is advantageous
- Strong administrative and coordination skills
- Must be a South African citizen
