Today will start off “dull” with patches of drizzle and mist in 18C temperatures.
As today progresses it will turn brighter as those conditions clear allowing some sunny spells to develop.
Alan O’Reilly of Carlow Weather confirmed cloud would clear from over the east allowing some sunshine to hit Dublin.
He said: “A nice bright start in the West as forecast and cloud in the East and Southeast but it will clear later this afternoon.”
Much of the same tonight with a mix of clear spells and showers.
On Wednesday it will feel “fresher” despite temperatures reaching up to 19C.
Again another day of scattered showers and sunshine, with those showers become isolated by evening.
Wednesday night will see the start of an “unsettled” turn as rain begins to feed in across Ireland from the Atlantic.
It will turn cloudier overnight with temperatures of just 8C to 12C.
However, Dublin is set to miss most of the heavier rain tomorrow night as the west takes the brunt of the showers.
Sunshine will continue to peek through showers on Thursday as cloud clears throughout the day.
It will be mild on Thursday with temperatures much lower during the day at 16C to 20C.
Rain and cloud to make a reappearance on Thursday night with temperatures falling as low as 8C.
