Former Grand Slam finalist and one half of tennis power couple looks devastated at he retires at Wimbledon

STEFANOS TSITSIPAS retired down two sets to French qualifier Valentin Royer.

The former world No3 was in a rotten mood throughout and pulled the plug while trailing 6-3 6-2 due to a back issue.

Tsitsipas, 26, is a two-time former Grand Slam finalist but has tumbled down the rankings during the last 12 months.

Prior to this year’s Championships he enlisted the help of former Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic.

But even with the Croatian in his corner, Tsitsipas found himself comprehensively outplayed by his inspired opponent.
