Trimester 3 applications for 2025 are now officially open at Buffalo City TVET College, located in East London, Eastern Cape. Whether you are a new applicant, a returning student, or planning to rewrite modules, online applications opened on 10 June 2025 for all eligible candidates.

All students — including rewrites — must submit their applications online before the closing date. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Engineering Studies (Full-Time) – N4 to N6:

- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Engineering Studies (Part-Time) – N4 to N6 (Subject to demand):
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
These nationally recognised qualifications prepare students for technical roles in the engineering sector and are a gateway to both employment and further studies.
Entry Requirements
To apply for any of the Report 191 (NATED) programmes, you must provide:
- A certified copy of your Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics, Physical Science, or Technical Matric (certified within the last 3 months at a police station)
- A certified copy of your Identity Document (ID)
Applications that do not include these certified documents will not be considered.
Placement Test
Applicants will be required to complete a placement test as part of the admission process. Please note: writing the test does not guarantee admission into the programme.
