ORLANDO Bloom appeared to have eyes for Kim Kardashian months before his split from Katy Perry – as the pair reunite in Venice for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s star-studded wedding.
Actor Orlando, 48, was yesterday spotted sharing a warm embrace with Kim, 44, at the Gritti Palace Hotel just days after it was confirmed his decade-long relationship with Katy, 40, had ended.

But fans are pointing back to a telling moment from September 2024 as a possible clue that things had already started to unravel.
While still very much engaged to Katy, Orlando was seen sneaking a cheeky glance at Kim’s famous derrière during a high-profile gala in New York.
The photo – taken at the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women Dinner – showed Orlando with his arm wrapped around Katy’s waist while clearly looking down toward Kim’s figure-hugging latex gown.
At the time, fans flooded social media with comments as the snap made a swirl across the internet.
“Maybe this is why they have been engaged for so long,” one fan wrote on Instagram.
“Doesn’t surprise me he looks like a womanizer,” another joked.
“Would you be angry if you were Katy Perry?” wondered a third on X.
Fast-forward to June 2025, and Orlando appears to be embracing single life once again – this time in Venice for Amazon billionaire Jeff’s jaw-dropping three-day wedding extravaganza.
Looking relaxed in a black vest and shorts, the newly single actor was seen strolling around the Italian streets before bumping into Kim and her sister Khloe at a swanky pre-wedding event.
Kim, dressed head-to-toe in chic Balenciaga, welcomed Orlando with open arms as the pair hugged at the luxe Gritti Palace.
Khloe, in bold leopard print, stood by watching the warm reunion unfold.
Later, the trio were seen seated together as A-listers including Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey and Usher mingled nearby.
Orlando, clearly in high spirits, was also seen licking his lips as he made his way onto a yacht ahead of the celebrations.
Despite Orlando’s wandering eye, Katy has been friends with the reality star for years.
In 2017, Kim thrilled her eldest daughter North West by taking her to one of Katy’s concerts, which included a meet-and-greet.

Two years earlier, Orlando was famously caught staring at Katy’s backside in a similar snap at the event before they began dating.
Katy met Orlando in 2016. The high-profile couple got engaged three years later, but there still hasn’t been a wedding.
“It was very sweet. It was Valentine’s Day … we went to dinner and I thought we were going to go see some art after dinner but we pulled up to a helicopter,” the Women’s World singer told Jimmy Kimmel on the topic of Orlando proposing.
“We landed on a rooftop [in Los Angeles] — my whole family was there, and all my friends. He did so well,” she added.

It comes after reports the Pirates of the Caribbean actor would “make his debut as a single man” at the A-List wedding of the year’s three-day celebration.
Clearly eager to embrace his stunning Italian surroundings – and escape speculation over his situation with the Roar hitmaker – he has touched down ahead of the nuptials.
Orlando was seen looking casual in a black vest top and shorts, finishing off with white sports socks.
He was seen stretching out as he strolled around the picturesque Italian streets with a pal, before spotting Kim, 44, and sister Khloe, 40, at nearby restaurant, The Gritti Palace.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum Kim looked chic in black Balenciaga trousers paired with a dark bandeau top.
She pulled on a pair of silver sunglasses and brushed her locks into a slicked-back up-do and was seen opening her arms to welcome the Lord Of The Rings actor into an embrace.
Her sister Khloe, decked out in bold leopard-print, could be seen watching the pair as she stood alongside.
The trio then sat at the same table as wedding attendees mingling at the pre-ceremony event.
Jeff and Lauren’s wedding venue was recently revealed as an “open air theatre” on a Venetian island.
A series of jaw-droppingly pricey hotel suites have also been booked out for the happy couple and their guests.
Kim and Orlando’s warm welcome came after it was reported Katy – who shares daughter Daisy with Orlando from their 10-year partnership – told pals they were over back in January.
The I Kissed A Girl songstress won’t be part of the wedding celebrations – despite cutting a striking figure in a see-through top at Lauren’s Hen – as she is on tour.
ALL CHANGE
Last week, The Sun reported how Orlando and Katy held crisis talks to try to save their relationship after leading increasingly separate lives.
American news website TMZ then said Brit-born Orlando would be “the life of the party” and that he would be hitting “the dancefloor hard” when he arrives in Italy for the nuptials.
An insider said: “No one has decided it’s definitely the end of the road for Katy and Orlando.
“They both love each other, but they have been living different lives for at least a year and in different mindsets.”
It’s understood Orlando and Katy are planning on reuniting on July 4 when there is a break in her touring schedule.
The insider added: “They have barely been together for a decent amount of time, without distractions, for many, many months.”
Tensions within their relationship also reached boiling point after Katy’s flight to space on board Jeff’s Blue Origin.
Katy, along with Lauren and Gayle King, were hit with a public backlash and those close to Orlando said he had warned Katy about taking part.
They said: “From day one, Orlando didn’t think going on the Blue Origin mission was a good idea, and knew she would face a backlash.”
DONE DEAL?
Yet it was then claimed Katy – who is on tour in Australia – had told her mates their engagement was over at the start of the year, before removing her engagement ring.
A source close to the couple said: “Katy confided in friends at the start of the year that their relationship was as good as done.
“They decided to hold off on announcing anything in case things improved between them, because they are desperate to stay together for the sake of their daughter.
“But they have spent barely any time together this year, with Katy on tour and Orlando working on his upcoming film Bucking Fastard in Dublin.
“She knew that taking off her engagement ring would send a clear message.
“It’s been a hard year so far. They wanted to wait until the tour is over before they made their split official, although Katy has grown tired of the situation.”
The couple started dating in 2016 and got engaged three years later. However, The Sun understands they had difficult conversations about their future over Christmas and in January but struggled to make a firm decision.
Reps for the couple refused to comment when approached about their separation in February and again this week.
