There are only a few WWE wrestlers as entertaining as Kurt Angle, his little concert on the squared circle in 2005 is a testament to that. If there is something Kurt Angle is better at than wrestling, it will undoubtedly be his ability to fascinate and entertain the crowd single-handedly.
Angle and Shawn Michaels were involved in an ongoing feud in 2005, which started with Royal Rumble 2005 and led to WrestleMania 21. During the feud, the duo engaged in many intense battles, but the most intriguing of them all was not the one they fought with their hands but the one they fought with their voices.
Was Kurt Angle’s version of ‘Sex Boy’ better than the original one by Shawn Michaels?

Shawn Michaels had one of the most famous theme songs in WWE history, ‘Sexy Boy.’ Though Sensational Sherri initially sang the song, Shawn Michaels later recorded his own version, which became one of the most popular WWE theme songs ever.
Kurt Angle, who was desperate to make HBK’s life hard during their classic feud, tried to show off his singing skills in front of the entire WWE arena, and guess which song he chose? Shaun Michaels’ theme song ‘Sexy Boy’.
On the March 24th, 2005 episode of Smackdown, Angle brought Sensational Sherri on the stage and started to dance around and sing Michaels’ theme song. This went on to become one of the most memorable moments in WWE history and some fans even claimed this version to be better than the original one.

Kurt Angle has earned his legendary status in the WWE not only because of his wrestling skills but because of this kind of theatrics as well. At the end of the day, WWE needs characters like Kurt Angle who will not let the promotion become boring and robotic.
Kurt Angle names the late WWE legend who could have been better than Shawn Michaels
Kurt Angle believes that the late Eddie Guerrero was on Shawn Michaels’ level but didn’t get the recognition he deserved. In an interview with WrestleZone’s Bill Pritchard, Angle talked about that one WrestleMania bout that made him believe Guerrero was as good as HBK.
“I would say the WrestleMania 20 against Eddie Guerrero. That match was overshadowed by an amazing main event between Triple H, Chris Benoit, and Shawn Michaels. That Triple Threat was probably the best Triple Threat I ever saw in my life. Eddie and I had a five-star match; we really did.”

Angle went on to explain how great the match was between him and Guerrero and how the late WWE wrestler managed to defeat Angle but with a twist.
” He rolled me up and pinned me, 1-2-3, real quick. So it was kind of a lie, cheat, and steal finish, and it worked extremely well. At the same time, it protected me, because I didn’t lose legitimately.”
“It’s in my top three. Eddie Guerrero, if there’s anybody that’s just every bit as good as Shawn Michaels, it’s Eddie.”
This shows the amount of respect Angle had for Guerrero and it is not only him but the entire WWE universe, who wonder what could have been if Eddie Guerrero was still alive today to amaze us with his craft.
