Joe Rogan discussed the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni lawsuit in his latest episode and bashed Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds in the process. He believed that both of them had gotten into big trouble with the lawsuit. He added that Reynolds is badly trying to escape the $400 million lawsuit, but shared that it was too late for the Deadpool & Wolverine actor.

In the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan claimed that Reynolds and Lively were trying to hijack the movie and the franchise from Baldoni. Rogan shared in the episode, “They were trying to take over the movie (Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively) and the whole franchise (from Justin Baldoni). The whole thing is crazy.”

Rogan further discussed some specifics in the case, one being Lively’s accusation that Baldoni barged into her trailer when she was breastfeeding. Rogan claimed that the text exchange evidence showed it was Lively who told Baldoni to come into the dressing room.

Rogan further added that both Ryan Reynolds and Lively, being the A-list couple in Hollywood, believed they were untouchable. He claimed that they never thought that someone would come out with the receipts. He shared during the episode:

How about she told him to come into the dressing room while she was breast feeding – and part of the complaint was that he came into the dressing room while she was breast feeding. Like – you literally have the text exchange back and forth. They (Blake and Ryan Reynolds) just never thought that anybody was going to come out with the receipts.

Rogan also condemned the use of the MeToo movement to destroy the livelihood of an innocent man.

Blake Lively accused Justin Baldoni of trying to ruin her reputation with a smear campaign (via People). According to Lively’s complaint, the retaliatory smear campaign came after she expressed concerns about Baldoni’s behavior. She claimed that Baldoni s*xually harassed her and created a hostile working environment.

In response, Baldoni first filed a defamation lawsuit against The New York Times after they released text messages and alleged that he orchestrated a smear campaign (via Forbes). He accused her of being the difficult one to work with. Later, Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane.

The lawsuit claims civil extortion, defamation, false light invasion of privacy, and intentional interference with contractual relations. He shared that Lively constantly attempted to interfere in the creative process and threw tantrums on set. He shared that Reynolds “launched into an aggressive tirade” during a meeting.

Lively’s side claimed that Baldoni was trying to trivialize her allegations by blaming the victim. They responded to the new $400 million lawsuit, sharing, “This latest lawsuit from Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and its associates is another chapter in the abuser playbook” (via PEOPLE).

They also claimed that evidence would show that the cast and others had their own negative experiences with Baldoni and his studio.
