Triple H Just Turned John Cena into CM Punk From 2011 With His Plans to Retire After WrestleMania 41

After decades of being a good guy, John Cena finally decided to turn his back on the fans at the 2025 Elimination Chamber. The WWE Universe was at a loss for words, witnessing their childhood superhero launch a shocking assault on Cody Rhodes after winning the opportunity to win March’s exclusive PPV after a little assistance from Seth Rollins.

Last week, he came out and justified his actions, and he did not care enough about what the fans think about him anymore. He even targeted a little kid in the audience and called him out for being the same as the rest of them. However, he’s not done yet because this week he reveals his masterplan and how he’s going to do a CM Punk after he wins his 17th WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.

John Cena aims to retire the WWE Undisputed Championship belt alongside him

Paul “Triple H” Levesque is going ham on the ‘heel’ John Cena storyline, and it is not even close to the greatness that fans are going to witness at The Greatest Stage of Them All. Last week, after he did not hold back any punches, he blasted his fans for being selfish and always stealing his moments. Thus, giving him loud and clear signs of how he is nothing but a toy for them.

However, he’s not done just yet. This week, he comes out in front of the Glasgow crowd and again decides to remind them of their hypocritical nature. He emphasized how they are “horrible” people at the end of the day because of how they loved to watch the meme of the little kid, which WWE posted on their Instagram.

To keep it clear, the 16-time WWE Champion unravels his evil plan after winning his much-deserved 17th WWE Championship and how he wants to ruin wrestling for everyone.

He laid it bare, stating that he wants the world to forget about the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. He said,

I am going to ruin wrestling. I am going to ruin wrestling for every fan, every wrestler, for everyone. At WrestleMania, I make history by winning a 17th championship, and make you forget the name of Ric Flair.

To further add to the disappointment of the wrestling enthusiasts, he wants to retire the belt with him. When it’s post-WrestleMania, neither he nor the belt will show up because he, the last “real” champion of WWE, will take the last championship to his home. Thus, leaving the fans disappointed like they have been doing for the past two decades. He said,

I will win that championship and retire with it. I am taking it home with me, and leaving all of you to create a brand new toy belt, because the real one comes home with me! I will be the last real champion in WWE!

The anger and frustration of Cena are justified. But why does he want the championship so badly? Aside from becoming the wrestler with the most WWE titles, it would feed his ego after how the fans detested his spinning belt via the official X account of WWE (@wwe).

Cena wants to rub it on every fan’s face and have the last laugh by hurting them by taking them what they hold so sacred.

The WWE Universe calls out Cena for recreating CM Punk’s 2011 move

With John Cena saying it loud and clear, the fans were taken aback and were shocked to learn about his intentions. His words were followed by Cody Rhodes, who came out and invited him for a brawl. However, he peacefully walked out, leaving the fans disappointed as they could not see what they came for.

However, the words of Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect spread like wildfire on the internet, where a wrestling page (@WrestleOps) shared the clip of his promo on X. The fans were quick to summon on the post, as they call it Cena’s “perfect villain arc,” with some comparing him with The Second City Saint. The fans commented,

With WrestleMania 41 just 25 days away, fans would be on their feet as they hope that in the coming weeks, The Rock shows up as well, making Rhodes’ life a living nightmare as he drops fiery promos like last year.

WrestleMania 41 will be a two-night event taking place on Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20, 2025.
