3 Worst Miraculous Holders From Miraculous: We Are Not Going to Count Nino Cause He Is Undisputedly Terrible

If there’s one thing Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir lovers can all agree on, it’s that Nino Lahiffe is a total catastrophe as a Miraculous holder. His time as Carapace is filled with insecurity, impulsivity, and an inability to keep secrets. He is pathetically clingy when it comes to Alya, making a huge big deal out of her secrecy while showing exactly why Ladybug was justified in keeping secrets from him.

That said, if we take Nino out of the equation, there are still plenty of terrible Miraculous holders. Some of them were flat-out villains, while others abused their powers because they were arrogant, selfish, or irresponsible. Here are the three worst Miraculous holders, excluding Nino because his awfulness is beyond dispute.

1. Gabriel Agreste (Hawk Moth/Monarch): The worst father and miraculous holder

Gabriel Agreste’s term as Hawk Moth (Monarch) is motivated by only one thing: to bring his dead wife, Emilie, back to life. That may be sympathetic on paper, but his ways are not so.

Instead of looking for the right ways to get what he wants, he uses Paris as his battleground, hurting innocent individuals simply to obtain maximum power. Gabriel is a manipulative mastermind, cold and calculating.

He is not afraid to lie, cheat, and ruin people’s lives in order to achieve his desires, all while pretending to be a respectable fashion mogul. He is everything a hero should not be: selfish, power-hungry, and completely lacking in compassion.

2. Lila Rossi: A serial liar with a dangerous agenda

Unlike Gabriel, Lila isn’t justified in explaining her actions with the excuse of grief. She’s just a compulsive liar who feeds off lies and manipulation. She needs attention and prestige, and she’s not afraid to walk all over people to achieve it.

Lila is the ultimate embodiment of lying. She’s manipulative and cunning and serves only herself. Unlike Chloe, who is at least openly awful, Lila works from behind the scenes, carefully and skillfully crafting her lies to bring down lives and keep her hands clean.

She was ever placed in charge of a Miraculous is itself a testament to the bad sense of those assigning them. However, the next name on our list will also blow your mind.

3. Chloe Bourgeois: An entitled bully who wasted her potential

Chloe had the potential to become an excellent Miraculous holder. She was provided with numerous chances to exhibit her potential and prove herself, but each time, she allowed her own selfishness and sense of entitlement to hinder her progress. Rather than using her position to help people, she sought to elevate herself above them.

Chloe is arrogant, nasty, and fixated on social status. As opposed to Lila, who is a ruthless manipulator, Chloe’s badness is more obvious, she just thinks she is superior to everybody else and won’t learn otherwise. Even with a Miraculous, she remains intolerable and ultimately unworthy of the power she wields.

Ultimately, among these three, Gabriel Agreste can certainly claim to be the worst for the sheer extent of the devastation caused. Nevertheless, Lila and Chloe’s power abuse makes them also equally viable contenders for the shamefully earned title. Their selfishness, manipulation, and lack of growth make them some of the most hated characters in the fandom.

And yet, no matter how terrible they are, Nino Lahiffe remains in a league of his own. His neediness, inability to hold his tongue, and utter disregard for the outcome of his actions render him the worst Miraculous wielder in the series. The only catch? He’s not a villain, he’s just that bad at being a hero.

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is currently available to watch on Netflix.
