Wolverine is one of the deadliest heroes in the Marvel Universe, not so much because of his power level, but because of how utterly ferocious and virtually unstoppable he is. Indeed, there are very few people in Marvel Comics who would willingly walk into a fight with the Hulk, and Wolverine proved to be one of those rare few upon his very first appearance – and the Hulk was far from the only powerful foe Wolverine would face in his Marvel Comics career.
