Although she is still expecting something nice from her daughter.
She added: “Rosie always gets brilliant presents. She’s so kind and thoughtful. I’m quite difficult to buy for. She always manages to get me something really, really interesting and beautiful. She’s given me a lovely rose bush. A yellow one called Grandma’s Rose.
“For my Christmas, it was a book full of gorgeous pictures of baby Billie and a wee calendar of her too. Things like that are dead precious. So I’m sure I’ll get something that’s got something to do with Billie, maybe a framed photo.”
But whatever she gets, the best gift for Lorraine is spending time with her family — especially her beautiful granddaughter.
She said: “I spent half an hour blowing bubbles with her yesterday. And blowing raspberries on her tummy, that’s always a good one! I mean, I’m living my best life.
“She’s a very sunny, smiley, happy baby. I have this all-consuming love for this tiny wee thing.
“It’s funny how the wee tiny things become really important and really lovely. It’s a great stage of my life, and I do feel very lucky.”
