Daredevil: Born Again has done a great job at differentiating the show from its Netflix predecessor, and one striking scene from the latest Marvel Universe episode works as a perfect parallel to one from the original show. Despite his time as a terrific villain, Born Again is making Kingpin pay in all kinds of ways. While Wilson Fisk has been elected Mayor of New York City, this has put the villain in an unexpectedly difficult place of having to navigate institutional powers and their inherent difficulties.
