It’s not often that we hear about what products the British royal family uses to keep their parenting lives as calm and efficient as can be. However, one brand just revealed Princess Beatrice uses one of their AI-powered products, and we wanna know all the details now.
The Nanit brand recently told Hello Magazine that Beatrice uses the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor to keep an eye on her newborn baby girl, Athena.
Unlike many parents, Beatrice is utilizing AI to give her peace of mind since the monitor not only tracks your baby visually when they sleep but also breathing motion and sleep cycle. (In fact, a study from Mashable showed that “37 percent of their parents were aware of their use,” and even fewer had any idea what it was about.)
While the AI baby monitor Beatrice uses retails for well over $200, it’s not much for a royal who wants to keep an eye on their newborn daughter.
For those who don’t know, Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, met back in 2018, and by Sept 2019, they got engaged. They later married in May 2020. Beatrice became the stepmom of Mozzi’s son, Christopher Woolf, born in April 2016.
Then, they welcomed a daughter together named Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi on Sept 2021.
Then, Beatrice revealed through the Palace that they were expecting another child together in early 2025.
The Palace made an announcement but made an error, so they had to release a corrected statement, which reads as follows:
“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together early in the new year; a sibling for Wolfie and Sienna. His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”
Then, on Jan 29, the Royal Family announced Beatrice had welcomed another daughter named Athena. They wrote on Instagram, saying, “🍼🎉 Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, born on Wednesday, 22nd January, at 12:57pm.”
