Recently, TikTok user @ahguaman shared a now-viral video of his mum losing it after he brought home yet another pet—a tiny hamster.
In the clip, she was ironing clothes when her son showed her the new pet hamster, instantly launching into a full-blown tirade.
When the OP tried to reassure his mum that the hamster was small, she immediately shut him down.
What small one? There are already so many animals in this house! This is not a house—it’s a zoo!” she snapped.
When he explained that the hamster was a gift, she was having none of it. Storming off, she continued her rant about how every available space was now occupied by animals.
Just when you thought it was over…
Just as her frustration seemed to peak, she suddenly pivoted to another complaint—his clothes.
Ah, you see! Your stupid shirt again. I told you not to wear this one, and now you still want to wear it. I have to iron for you. Enough already!”
The unexpected switch-up left viewers in stitches, with many finding her frustration all too relatable.
He has more pets than some pet shops
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, @ahguaman revealed he has around 70+ pets, including six terrapins, a cat, a hamster, and countless fish.
While he handles most of the care, his parents—despite their protests—help out with the cat.
Though his mum often complains, he admits her real breaking point was when he brought home massive six-foot and five-foot fish tanks.
Despite the scoldings, he has no plans to stop.
“Hahaha, yes, I’ll definitely bring in more animals! But no dogs or cats—just smaller aquatic pets like fish and turtles.”
Looks like his mum might have to brace herself for even more surprises!
