Tom Brady and Irina Shayk are reportedly back together after dating, and splitting, back in 2023.
The pair had a short-lived but very high-profile relationship from May 2023 until the end of that year, the NFL star’s first public relationship since his split from ex-wife Gisele Bündchen in 2022. And though we might have thought Shayk and Brady had put their hot and heavy romance to bed for good after their 2023 summer romance, it seems not.
“Tom and Irina have started dating each other again and are open to see where things go,” an insider told Page Six on February 21.

May 2023: Brady & Shayk Meet
In May 2023, a few months after Brady’s divorce announcement from his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, sparks started flying between him and Shayk. The two connected at billionaire Joe Nahmad’s wedding to model Madison Headrick in their luxurious wedding in Costa Smeralda, Sardinia. Also attending the wedding, per Page Six, was Leonardo DiCaprio, Serena Williams, and more.
July 24, 2024: Brady & Shayk Are First Reported to Be Dating
In July, photos of Brady and Shayk hanging out together were making rounds online. In a few photos obtained by TMZ, Brady was seen caressing Shayk’s face and picking her up from her hotel and driving her into his home. At the time, TMZ also reported they spent the entire weekend together.
After the photos, there was no denying a relationship between them.
“Tom and Irina have run in the same circle for a while and have always gotten along great,” a source told Entertainment Tonight on the same day. “The two have been talking for about a month and have enjoyed their time together,” the source said, “but it’s not too serious.”
Another source told Daily Mail about their romance, and hinted that things were exactly that casual either.
“Tom is really ecstatic that this is happening, he feels that they totally get each other, and he really finds her extremely interesting, entrepreneurial, and has a clever sense of humor that really appeals to everything he is all about,” a source told Daily Mail. “She is not just a fling; he really wants to make this work.”
“He really thinks very highly of her and where this relationship could go. He has zero worry with her, they seem to get each other and get along quite well,” the insider continued.
August 15, 2023: Brady & Shayk Have Another Rendezvous Together
In August, Brady and Shayk were pictured spending another couple of days together, this time at the five-star The Twenty Two hotel in London. From pictures obtained by Daily Mail, the pair arrived around 2 am on Sunday morning, were “holed up” for two days, and left at two separate times on Tuesday.
August 21, 2023: Shayk Is Reportedly Feeling Butterflies
A few days after they had some time together, sources dished out Shayk’s feelings for Brady. “[She’s] impressed with Tom,” a source told People. “He is her dream guy. She loves dating him.”
“They work around their schedules and meet up wherever they can,” the source explained. “Irina doesn’t mind traveling to see him. She is very excited about their relationship.”
August 28, 2023: Shayk Vacations With Ex Bradley Cooper
While fans were thinking things were going steady with Shayk and Brady, she surprised us all when she went on vacation to Italy with her ex Bradley Cooper and their daughter, Lea de Seine.
In the photos of them from Page Six, the exes, who dated from 2015 to 2019, were spotted with their arms around each other, with one photo of Cooper caressing her arm.
On Instagram, Shayk also posted a since-deleted slideshow of photos which included some sensual, topless pics. Knowing that just the three of them were on vacation together, we’re guessing Cooper was the one behind the camera.
September 11, 2023: Shayk Returns to Brady
Following her Italian vacation, Shayk met up with Brady in his New York City apartment on September 11. Per Page Six, Shayk and Brady spent an afternoon together after arriving at separate times.
October 21, 2023: Brady & Shayk ‘Fizzled Out’
After a summer fling, sources confirmed Brady and Shayk were no longer an item in October. “The two eventually ‘fizzled out’ after some time together, no drama or scandal … it just came to an end,” TMZ reported.
“They had fun traveling to see each other. In the end, it kind of just fizzled,” a source echoed to People a day later. “They both keep having obligations, and it was getting more difficult to be in the same city at the same time. Irina has nothing but great things to say about Tom.”
January 15, 2024: Brady & Shayk Are Linked Once Again
A few months after reports of their split, Brady and Shayk were once again spotted together. On January 15, they were spotted having dinner at New York City’s Brasserie Fouquet.
10 days later, Us Weekly confirmed their romance. “Tom enjoys Irina’s company, but he’s still in a transitional period after his divorce and not looking to settle down [yet],” the insider said.
April 24, 2024: Shayk Is Reportedly Single Again
Months after Shayk and Brady had been last photographed together, sources confirmed they had split and she was back on the market.
“She is shopping, but her dating pool is a tiny group of people,” a source told Page Six. “She needs famous, good looking and money. How many of those are there? Five, ten?”
February 21, 2025: Brady & Shayk Give It Another Go
In early 2025, Brady and Shayk are reportedly giving their romance another go. “Tom and Irina have started dating each other again and are open to see where things go,” an insider told Page Six.
According to Life & Style, their third go-around has everything to do with timing. “The timing was off before,” a source told the outlet. “Neither of them was fully over their exes when they first got together. Now, they’re both in better head spaces.”
“Tom and Irina never stopped caring about one another,” the insider added. “Whatever spark they had two years ago is back.”
