Arfield, 36, came through the youth ranks at Falkirk before making his first team breakthrough in 2007.

After three years and more than 100 appearances, the midfielder went on to enjoy eight years in England before joining Rangers in 2018.

Arfield became a key part of the Steven Gerrard revolution at Ibrox and was a central figure of the side that clinched the league title in 2021.

He left Rangers in 2023 and spent a year in America with Charlotte FC before moving to Bolton last summer.

Last month, Arfield sealed an emotional return to first club Falkirk 15 years after his initial exit.

It’s been an inspired signing, with Arfield netting a hat-trick on his debut and becoming an integral part of table-topping Falkirk’s push for promotion to the Scottish Premiership.

While football has become his career, Arfield has never hidden his love for music either.

He was previously part of a band called The Begbies, that also included his brother Stuart, and he’s previously shared content on his social media of himself playing guitar and singing.

In an interview last year, Arfield described music as “my biggest passion.”

He revealed he decided to prioritise football when aged 17 or 18 and was thankful for how things worked out!

Arfield sent wedding goers wild by performing an original song when he was the best man at a good pal’s wedding.

While in the United States, a cover of Zach Bryan’s hit song ‘Something in the Orange’ went viral and thrilled fans.

Now, he’s been spotted performing alongside a major Scottish singer!

Arfield is friends with Callum Beattie, the Rangers-daft star who will be headlining his own show at the OVO Hydro later this year.

Arfield joined Beattie for a performance of the latter’s hit song ‘Salamander Street’, a track that hit No6 in the Scottish charts.

With Arfield playing the guitar, the duo performed a stirring rendition of the song.

Beattie shared the video to his Instagram stories, saying: “The one and only @scotty.arf”

Arfield has scored five goals in his five games for Falkirk so far.

He started in Saturday’s 1-0 win over a Dunfermline as the Bairns ended the weekend six points clear at the top of the Championship table.
