POLICE and gun cops swarmed a Scots high-rise block this afternoon as two men were arrested.
Mercy crews were scrambled to the Mount Cameron Drive South area of East Kilbride after the alarm was raised around 1:20pm.
Cops say they attended following a report of an alleged disturbance.
Two men, both 48, have been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
Footage from the scene shows three police cars and two ambulances in attendance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.20pm on Sunday, 9 March, 2025, officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the Mount Cameron Drive South area of East Kilbride.
“Officers attended and two men, both aged 48, were arrested in connection.
“There are no reported injuries.
“Specialist firearms officers also attended.
“There will remain a police presence in the area while enquiries continue.
“Anyone with any concerns can approach these officers.”
