A PETROLHEAD has completely transformed a beaten-up hatchback into a head-turner – thanks to some bargain buys.

YouTuber Hood Stig picked up an Audi RS4 for the bargain price of £3,500 at a car auction, before pimping it out with a selection of budget-friendly parts from online megastore Temu.

The car fanatic saw potential in the worn-out Audi, which most had written off as little more than scrap.

As part of its transformation, the car underwent a total colour revamp, with the old, tired black body wrapped in a sleek, head-turning film.

Hood Stig also revamped the interior, fitting a flat-bottom steering wheel with a carbon fibre cover, while upgrading the car’s infotainment screen – adding a touch of high-end tech to the motor without the sky-high price tag.

In a video posted to his channel, Stig said: “All those Temu parts absolutely transformed this car.

“I was able to take this car to the next level and completely transform the Audi, and it cost a fraction of what it would’ve cost to buy a brand-new RS4.

“I didn’t even spend as much as I would have on a second-hand version.”

Perhaps the standout addition was the car’s “hornet eye” headlights.

By fitting yellow films over the headlights and black ones on the taillights, he managed to create an assertive, aggressive look on a budget.

“I don’t even know what to think, but I quite like how the film makes it resemble a hornet, which was the aim.

“It doesn’t look like a normal headlight anymore,” Stig said.

He also made other exterior modifications, such as installing wheel spacers to give the car a more striking stance, and fitting oval exhaust tips to complete the look.

Stig said: “I put in 1,000 hours bringing it back to life.

“After a bit of perseverance and patience, things actually started to work out.

“Everything matched the theme of black and yellow, and the final result was sick!”

Temu has become a hot favourite among Brits for its wide range of affordable products, including electronics, home goods, fashion, and automotive accessories.
