Meghan Markle’s Brother Gave a Scathing Review of Her Netflix Show & Is Debunking This Major Claim

Meghan Markle‘s new cooking and lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, is already making waves. In less than 24 hours after its release, the show hit Top 10 on Netflix in the US and many countries around the world. But while fans of her might be enjoying this inside look, her half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. is decidedly not entertained.

Speaking to TalkTV, Thomas gave a unfiltered reaction to watching his sister’s show. “This is probably the first time I felt sorry and embarrassed for her,” he said.

“The first five minutes, it was so bland and generic and it looked like so much effort was made and put into it to make it look bland,” he continued. “It was just blah, nothing sparkly about it, nothing jumped [out]. Just Meghan talking in that bland, generic voice about nothing.”

As the conversation went on, however, he revealed that he wouldn’t say no to being invited to the show himself. “She could have invited my father, me and Samantha [Markle], of course, and she could have turned that into something the entire world was actually wanting to expect: Meghan to do the right things and make amends,” he said. “This would’ve been a great opportunity.”

In other words, while he has no problem criticizing his sister in public interviews, and making his entire social media presence about bashing her, he’s still waiting to be invited to make amends.

Later on, he also debunked a few statements Markle made on the show. In the series, Markle talks to her guests about not having the most nutrition-forward diet when she was younger. Among her memories was her eating fast food, Pollo Lovo and Jack in the Box dinners and a Sizzler’s salad.

According to Thomas, who is 15 years her senior, that was never the case. “That’s just another one of the malarkey stories she sold to the Royal Family for sympathy,” he said. “We weren’t poor. She didn’t have to rub two nickels together at Sizzler’s salad bar.”

“The entire world knows how she treated her family, especially her father, who gave her everything,” he said. “That’s why nobody’s buying it.”

His final comments didn’t shy away from being downright mean either. “Halfway through, I realized there’s something better I could be doing with my time,” he said. “Dropping bricks on my pinky toes would probably be better.”

“Everybody’s going to watch the first episode, and it’ll be the worst critically acclaimed episode of all time,” he said. “Then, five or six minutes into the second, they’ll probably commit themselves to a psychiatric ward.”

If you have a half-brother who will speak so poorly of you and your projects, who needs an enemy, right?
