There are a lot of things happening in One Piece; the final saga is on, and the field is set on the enigmatic island of giants, Elbaf. When a normal-sized human crew looks up at the giants, they seem terrifyingly massive. Of all of the giants seen in Elbaf, the size of Loki is the most humongous.
We do not know if it is because of his royal blood or something else, but Loki towers above the other giants. The known and loved giant rival duo of Dorry and Brogy seem like kids next to Loki, the accursed prince of Elbaf.
So, is Loki the tallest giant in One Piece? The answer would be a big resounding no. This is because the biggest giant was introduced long before the Straw Hats even knew much about Elbaf. Let us delve in and see who this mysterious giant is.
The most humongous giant in One Piece
The Elbaf giants in One Piece are all known for their immense sizes. They are magnified versions of humans, and it makes sense that some would be taller and others a bit shorter, but even among them, there is a vast difference in height.
Loki, the prince of Elbaf, is undeniably tall and dwarfs the rest of the giants, he can be considered an anomaly. But he pales in comparison to San Juan Wolf, the largest known giant in the series and a character introduced very early on.
While most giants range between 12 to 20 meters (like Dorry and Brogy), San Juan Wolf stands at an astounding 180 meters, making him nearly nine times the height of the average Elbaf warrior. This makes sense, considering he was standing in the sea while fighting.
Although Oda has not confirmed Loki’s exact height, we can assume that he is much taller than the other giants and dwarfs them, so he can be two to three times taller. Approximately a maximum of around 60 meters in height.
But this would be ridiculous if compared to San Juan Wolf as it is practically the same as comparing the happy-go-lucky Straw Hat Captain, Luffy, with his giant friends, Dorry and Brogy. The difference is on another level, so much that the giant infrastructure would not be enough for San Juan Wolf.
Why Is San Juan Wolf So Gigantic?
San Juan Wolf has not been mentioned by any giant ever since the crew landed on Elbaf. The reason for this is unknown, but it could be Oda’s way of making a problem vanish (considering San Juan Wolf was an early element).
We do know that San Juan Wolf’s Devil Fruit increases his height (so much that he makes Colossal Titan look like an infant). But the exact maximum of his height is unknown. However, even at the conservative estimate, he is around 180 meters.
This reminds us how massive San Juan Wolf is, explaining why he was considered a threat worthy of Level 6 imprisonment in Impel Down (but how did they keep him there?).
San Juan Wolf is also known as the “Colossal Battleship,” and he is not an ordinary giant. His immense size is due to the influence of a Devil Fruit, Deka Deka no Mi (it helps him grow up to ten times his size), considering he was already a giant- he is (by a conservative estimation 180 meters). Loki cannot trump that, no matter how much royal blood he has within him.
