In episode seven, Elevating the Everyday, the mum-of-two appeared in a cream Northwestern sweatshirt, reminiscent of the one worn by Prince Harry’s late mother nearly 30 years ago.

The Duchess is seen walking across her garden to her large vegetable patch wearing light blue jeans and the jumper.

Meghan, 43, added to the ‘wholesomeness’ of the scene by treading barefoot on the grass as she picked vegetables.

This follows a February Instagram post in which Meghan wore an identical purple Northwestern sweatshirt to the late Princess Diana’s.

It led some experts to speculate it was a publicity move designed to spark conversation just days before her Netflix show premiered on 4 March.

The first few minutes of episode seven show Meghan assembling a harvest basket for her close friend and neighbour, Vicki Tasi, who visits to make a potsticker recipe and enjoy some home beauty treatments.

She says: “I love Vicki, I’ve known her for years. I’m going to make a harvest basket, and I’m going to grab a couple of things from the bathroom.”

Walking barefoot in jeans and a white Northwestern jumper, Meghan emphasises that creating a harvest basket is about more than just one recipe, but about “moments that people can pick from.”

Speaking about her expansive vegetable patch, the Duchess says: “Again, you are trying to share what you have. We don’t all have a garden like this, I fully recognise that.

“I didn’t grow up with a garden like this but if you have a farmers’ market, then you can definitely find something, that if you have a bite of it, and you go ‘uhh, I wish I could try it’ then share it with them, because they can.”

Her new Netflix cookery show, With Love, Meghan, launched today (4 March), coinciding with the release of her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

Both ventures have seen the Duchess embark on a social media blitz, posting nine times on her personal Instagram since the start of 2025 – a stark contrast to her years of online silence.

Now, Meghan regularly updates her 2.2 million followers.

In the earlier Instagram post featuring the purple Northwestern jumper, Meghan filmed herself walking around her Montecito garden.

It comes as…

  • Meghan Markle’s new show, Meghan, With Love, was released on Netflix today
  • The series begins with an emotional Meghan fawning over bees and honey
  • In one episode, the Duchess of Sussex makes bacon and jokes: ‘My bacon brings all the boys to the yard’
  • She also corrects pal Mindy Kaling calling her ‘Markle’ – insisting her surname is ‘Sussex’
  • The Duchess goes onto share a touchy feely moment with Prince Harry, who appears briefly
  • Meghan adds bizarre items to ‘children’s party bags’ from Manuka honey sticks to gardening tools
  • In one bizarre moment, Meghan gets flustered and tells guest Alice Waters ‘I feel like you’re watching me fall in love’ while eating a turnip
  • She also lets loose on a hike, dancing with a pal while out on a dog walk
  • Fans slam show ‘the fakest stuff ever’ as they find identical recipes online

The mum-of-two smiles in a pair of sunglasses, with the clip also featuring the Duke and their children, Archie and Lilibet.

The post is captioned: “A small break from work to soak in the weekend sunshine.”

In the video, one of the children is heard saying, ‘Mummy, I can do it if you want me to,’ before they are seen watering the plants with a hose.

Speaking to The Sun’s royal editor, Matt Wilkinson, on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, Hello! magazine’s royal editor, Emily Nash, weighed in on the accusations of Meghan “cosplaying” Diana.

She says: “It’s a tricky one isn’t it, because on the one hand, it has been a huge media moment for her.

“It’s drawn a huge amount of attention, which you might argue the week before her show launch is only a good thing.

“I don’t think it’s that clear cut. She is an alumni of Northwestern, she might literally just be proud to wear that sweater.”

Since the release of her show, viewers have already been left cringing at some of her antics, including getting touchy feely with Prince Harry.

Some have been quick to joke about some of her behaviour, including showing off a tattoo inspired by her new brand As Ever and saying she’s “branded forever”.

Others have also described it as the “FAKEST stuff ever” and “only for the richest people”.

What do we know about Meghan Markle’s new cooking show, With Love, Meghan?

MEGHAN Markle’s new Netflix documentary trailer shows her cooking with Hollywood pals.

The Duchess of Sussex gave fans an insight into her show, With Love, Meghan, which airs soon.

There will be eight 33 minute episodes featuring a host of Meg’s various Hollywood friends trying her simple, yet “elevated”, food.

A montage of various clips in the nearly two-minute video showed Meghan walking through vegetable patches and fields.

She was also filmed browsing florists, hand-selecting beautiful flowers for table arrangements, showing off her creative side.

The Duchess even tried her hand at beekeeping, fully suited up, as she collected honey.

In the exciting new trailer, Meghan shared: “I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it.

“Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them.

“I’m going to share some little tips and tricks. I see what colour I gravitate to, and everything goes from there. And how you incorporate these practices every day.

“This is about connecting with friends… I love that we’re doing this together for the first time. Making new friends… and just learning.

“We’re not in the pursuit of perfection. We’re in the pursuit of joy. I have to get it totally wrong, to get it totally right.”

The trailer showcased many “candid” moments, from Meghan accidentally squeezing some lemon juice in her eye, to knocking freshly baked goodies off a plate.

Prince Harry featured at the end of the video, embracing his wife in a warm hug.
