Love Island fans stunned as Molly Smith cosies up with boyfriend Tom Clare’s famous ex at glam event

LOVE Island fans were left stunned after spotting Molly Smith cosying up to boyfriend Tom Clare’s ex.

The Manchester fitness brand owner was seen giggling with her fellow ITV2 show alum as they put on a friendly display at The BRITs.

Molly, 30, appeared to harbour no bad blood with Samie Elishi, 25, who attempted a second stab at romance on Love Island All Stars earlier this year.

The duo were seen with fellow matchmaking show stars Georgia Harrison, 30, and Gabby Allen, 33, as they had a natter outside The O2 Arena in London.

Samie and Molly, who book-ended the other stars as they stood in a line, turned inwards to face each other in a friendly gesture.

The clip, posted on Instagram page People Watching At The Brits, saw them engaged in some deep chat before Samie covered her face with her bag as she let slip some particularly juicy news away from the camera.

Samie and ex Tom, 25, first met in Love Island’s 2023 series.

The pair managed to make it all the way to the final and place third, despite both arriving as bombshell contestants.

They lost out to winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan and placed just behind runners up Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins.

The pair appeared to be going from strength to strength after leaving the villa – even officially becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.

Yet reports began circulating that they had called it quits just a month after the show ended.

In April 2023, it was announced that Samie and Tom had split up.

A source at the time said: “Samie and Tom have sadly decided to call it a day. There is a lot of love and respect there but it just wasn’t going anywhere.

“The distance between them was too much and they are both really focused on their careers post Love Island.”

We then reported how Samie felt their long-distance relationship was one-sided and so called it quits.

Meanwhile, Molly and Tom’s love story began in the first-ever Love Island All Stars series in 2024.

They have now bought a home and moved in together, with their blossoming romance documented in-part on Molly’s YouTube channel.

Tom also has the most important seal of approval from Molly’s dog Nel.

With their love on solid ground, fans were quick to praise Molly’s attitude towards Samie at music’s biggest bash of the year.

One wrote on Reddit of Molly’s “mature” attitude and said: “Nice to see they actually get along.”

A second posted: “Yeah and it’s helpful bc Molly sets the tone! If she’s nice to Samie, everyone can just keep it moving.”

A third mused: “Didn’t even think of that!!! A group of best friends currents and girlfriends, wow.”

One added: “Nice to see! I really didn’t think there any beef just awkward since it’s his ex haha.”

BRITS BLUES

During the ceremony and Red Carpet, Molly was defended by Tom after some cruel trolls took aim at her “booby” look.

When one man commented she was ‘desperate’, protective Tom Clare fired back: “hopefully I bump into you muppet.”

Another cruel troll remarked: “Please remove the girls and go all a natural.”

Her fans also defended her and hit out at jealous people making unnecessary comments on Molly’s appearance.

Molly first rose to fame on Love Island in 2020 and  2021, she underwent the procedure to increase her boobs to a larger size with Transform Hospital Group.

At the time she revealed she was subject of cruel trolls who body-shamed her for having smaller boobs.
