Cena, 47, stunned fans as he turned heel following his win in the Elimination Chamber on Saturday,
The victory saw the legend book his spot at the WrestleMania 41 card.
But it was his actions to perform a historic turn heel in the ring after the fight that shocked fans.
Cody Rhodes went to embrace Cena but was then struck by a low blow by 16-time world champion while The Rock also joined in.
Cena said another as he used the microphone as a weapon to beat the champion.
He then stepped out of the ring and remained silent until the show went off air.
Cena was stone-faced as he walked into his press conference with a room of reporters hoping to ask about his recent performance.
However, there would be no answers provided on this occasion.

Fans were left shocked by Cena’s antics as they reacted on social media.
One posted: “Dude is going to be the greatest heel ever.”
A second commented: “That was so good.”
A third joked: “You can’t hear him either.”
A fourth posted: “He was saying everything without saying anything.”
A fifth said: “I’m here for Heel Cena. Love it.”
The reasoning behind Cena’s heel turn will for now remain a secret.
However, he did tease fans in February that he will be doing whatever he can to make sure he is the WrestleMania star in his final year.
After the Royal Rumble, he said: “I’m going to main event my final appearance in WrestleMania, and win a 17th championship, because that’s what’s best for business.
“And I say that because it is not best for my ego, it is not best for my business.
“I have built my existence here off of hard work, loyalty to this company, and respect for all of its branches.”
