Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky offered an update on her husband Kevin Manno’s thyroid cancer battle.
“The surgery went great and they only had to take half out! We went in, not knowing if they’d have to take the whole thing or half,” Fedotowsky, 40, wrote via Instagram on Friday, February 28. “Thankfully, it did not metastasize through his lymph nodes, and it really was the best possible scenario.”
Fedotowsky and Manno, 41, revealed in January that the radio DJ had been diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer that required surgery.
“Happy to report that this guy’s thyroid pathology report came back negative! Meaning the cancer is totally gone,” Fedotowsky noted on Friday. “After his surgery, they took the thyroid to have it tested to make sure they got all the margins.”

She continued, “We are so pumped that they did and he is smooth sailing from here on out! Well, I guess once we figure out his medication dose, which will happen soon hopefully. And then happy to report that we officially found today that Kevin’s pathology report came back negative.”
According to Fedotowsky, her husband is “officially cancer-free.”

Fedotowsky and Manno are now waiting to “see how his half of a thyroid does” amid his daily life.
“It’s likely that he will have to go on medication the rest of his life, but it’s kind of a wait-and-see at this point,” Fedotowsky explained in her caption. “Thank you for all the love and support! @kevinmanno and I appreciate it so much!”
Manno’s cancer had been discovered after he underwent a Prenuvo full-body MRI scan in 2024 that indicated two spots on his thyroid. A follow-up biopsy and CT scan eventually confirmed the presence of cancer.
Ali Fedotowsky Says Husband Had ‘Zero Symptoms’ Before Cancer Diagnosis
“The crazy thing is he had absolutely ZERO symptoms and his blood work came back perfect,” Fedotowsky wrote via Instagram on January 29. We can’t stress enough, how important it is to have a doctor [who] pays attention to your charts, and of course, paying attention to your own charts and follow-ups! Which we didn’t. Thank goodness our doctor did.”
She added, “Kevin had no symptoms [and] still has no symptoms. [He] feels so healthy, best shape of your life. I mean, your bloodwork at every annual [check-up] has come back absolutely perfect. No lumps and bumps in his throat, like, his thyroid has been felt.”
Fedotowsky and Manno have been married since 2017 and share daughter Molly, 8, and son Riley, 6.
