Leading the list is Dwayne Johnson, with an estimated earning of $88 million, largely fueled by his deal with Amazon’s Red One and the success of Moana 2. He is followed by the Deadpool & Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds, who earned $85 million, and Kevin Hart at third place with $81 million.
Kidman’s earnings reflect a prolific year spanning both TV and movies. She made $1 million per episode for series like Lioness, The Perfect Couple, and Expats, along with her sensational performances in movies like A Family Affair and Babygirl.

In addition to Nicole Kidman, the only other women to appear on Forbes’ highest-paid actors of 2024 are the Emmy-winning actress Mariska Hargitay and Scarlett Johansson.
Known for her long-running role in the police procedural crime drama Law & Order: SVU, Mariska Hargitay ranked at the 11th place with $25 million earnings, majorly through the TV show, while also claiming the title for the highest-paid actor on television.
As per Forbes, Harigtay earns an estimated $750,000 per episode between acting and producing fees, in addition to a percentage of a show’s syndication profits.
Scarlett Johansson ranked 19th and the youngest in the overall list, with her earnings estimated at $21 million. Johansson starred in two projects in 2024. Fly Me to the Moon, which struggled at the box office due to its high budget and underwhelming performance, and Transformers One.
Based on overall earnings and industry influence, it is striking that the highest-paid actress earned less than half of the highest paid actor actor, Dwayne Johnson’s $88 million, despite the underwhelming performance of Red One.
And it once again raises questions about the significant pay gap in Hollywood, as women continue to earn substantially less, even delivering strong, consistent performances and contributing to highly successful projects.
