First to join Patrick on the sofa tonight was Taoiseach Michael Martin, who discussed a broad range of international issues, including his upcoming trip to Washington.

Michael was soon followed by Danny Dyer, a popular film and TV star, who discussed his new movie Marching Powder.

Elsewhere on the show, Patrick was joined by Hollywood legends Jessica Lange and Ed Harris.

The pair were promoting their upcoming film, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, which premiered at the Dublin International Film Festival.

Later on in the show, Sarah Corbett Lynch spoke about her memoir A Time for Truth.

Which is about her father, Jason Corbett, who was killed nearly ten years ago in North Carolina by Sarah’s stepmother, Molly Martens, and Molly’s father, Tom Martens.

However, one guest on tonight’s show blew viewers away with her “excellent” music performance.

Patrick was joined by Donegal born artist Muireann Bradley, who performed her new track Delia.

The song is the latest release from her new album I Kept These Old Blues.

The country music and blues singer performed a solemn performance of the song with an adequate blue backdrop.

RTE viewers took to social media to praise her performance on tonight’s show.

Francis wrote: “That was excellent.”

Paddy said: “Lovely voice and style.”

During a Valentine’s Day special of the Late Late Show, viewers were blown away by another performer.

Noughties icon Gabrielle joined the Down comic to discuss the legacy of her album, Rise, and her upcoming gig in the 3Arena.

Gabrielle began her appearance by delivering a stellar rendition of her hit-song Dreams from her album Find Your Way.

Afterwards she joined Kielty to discuss the legacy of her music thirty-three years after first releasing music.
