Sources claimed Taylor Swift had no creative involvement in It Ends With Us

Following her mention in Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal battle, Taylor Swift has become one of the high-profile names associated with the drama, even leading to some discourse against the singer.
However, sources have come out to say that Swift had no involvement in the movie, despite her close friendship with Lively. “Taylor has always been Blake’s friend, but Taylor doesn’t have any involvement in the case. She wasn’t part of the movie,” the source told US Weekly.
“Taylor was not a producer on the film and had no creative involvement,” they continued. Further noting the legal implications of the issue, the insider added,
While she and Blake are friends, this case is now a legal matter for the courts to resolve — Dragging Taylor into it is unnecessary and misrepresents what really happened.
Sources also shared that the singer is “not relevant to the case,” noting that she did not see a single scene from the movie until it was released in theatres. A trial date has been set for March 9, 2026. However, a judge has ruled that the trial date could be moved up.
Selena Gomez’s new album, I Said I Love You First, is set to be released on March 21, 2025.
