MANCHESTER UNITED fans can’t even watch the darts in peace – after a cheeky jibe from Sky’s commentary team.
The Premier League Darts headed to Exeter this week as Luke Littler looks to defend his 2024 title.

Littler cruised through his opening match against Stephen Bunting.
Despite being under the weather, the 18-year-old averaged 112.34 in a blistering display.
The Nuke took the win 6-3, despite Bunting posting his own superb average of 104.
Bunting cut a disconsolate figure during the latter stages of the match, in which Littler hit TEN 180s.
Commentator Stuart Pyke was joined by Wayne Mardle in the Sky booth.
Mardle claimed the Premier League format had “no let-up” and was “relentless”.
Referencing Bunting feeling the heat, Pyke quipped in return: “There is no Manchester United to relieve the pressure in this Premier League.”
A laughing Mardle added: “For anyone offended by that we’re sorry”.

One fan immediately responded on X: “Man United even catching strays at the darts, can’t catch a break.”
Another laughed: “I can’t even escape United getting taken the p*ss out of when I’m watching the darts. FFS we’re finished.”
New world champion Littler is a huge United fan.
He paraded the trophy at Old Trafford following his 7-3 win over Michael van Gerwen at Ally Pally last month.
But United’s trajectory over the past year has been the opposite to the teenage sensation.
Despite Ruben Amorim‘s arrival last November, the Red Devils are marooned in the bottom half of the Premier League.

Amorim has however taken time out of his busy schedule to congratulate The Nuke on his Ally Pally heroics.
Littler told the Tops and Tales darts podcast: “Have I met Ruben Amorim? Not yet.
“But I spoke to the Viaplay (team) from Denmark recently. And I got a message, like a video message, off Amorim saying: ‘Well done.’
“Well done on the world championships. I wasn’t expecting that.”
