Sun Pictures made the exciting announcement on Thursday morning via their official X handle, confirming that Pooja Hegde will join the film’s dynamic ensemble cast. The tweet read, “Yes, you guessed it right! @hegdepooja from the sets of #Coolie.”
As the film nears its final stages of shooting, sources close to the production revealed that Rajinikanth had recently wrapped a crucial schedule in Thailand from January 13 to 28. Earlier this year, the superstar mentioned that 70% of the movie had already been completed.
Coolie promises an exciting star-studded lineup, featuring Telugu actor Nagarjuna, Kannada actor Upendra, Malayalam star Soubin Shahir, Tamil legend Sathyaraj, and actresses Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, and Junior MGR. To add even more star power, Bollywood’s Aamir Khan is set to make a cameo appearance!
The film’s music, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and its stunning visuals by Girish Gangadharan are sure to leave an impact. Produced by Sun Pictures under Kalanithi Maran’s banner, the movie is also edited by Philomin Raj. One of the most anticipated aspects of Coolie is the reunion of Rajinikanth and Sathyaraj, who last worked together in the 1986 hit Mr. Bharath.
