MAFS’ Sacha blames the DEVIL for huge reunion feud and tells fans she’s the victim of ‘spiritual warfare’

MARRIED At First Sight’s Sacha Jones has today blamed the DEVIL for her huge reunion feud – and even went as far as telling fans she’s the victim of “spiritual warfare”.

Sacha, 29, has been embroiled in a bitter war of words with fellow MAFS bride Erica Roberts, 25, which saw her poke fun at her faith.

The pair have been feuding since the explosive Married At First Sight reunion show this week.

But things took a turn when Sacha reposted a clip of Erica from her You & Me podcast which she hosts alongside former traitors contestant Meryl Williams.

In the short clip, the pair appear to poke fun at Sacha’s faith.

Erica can be heard stating “obviously she’s found God and stuff”, Meryl can then be heard laughing at the comment to which she repeats.

Sacha then reposted the podcast clip, and penned: “Laughing at my religion?”

“Wow really gunning for me, all over an unfollow!”

Today Sacha went further to say their feud has been the result of the “Devil’s work”.

Speaking in a TikTok video, she said: “It’s become quite evident to me that what I’m experiencing is spiritual warfare, a spiritual attack.

“Due to being so open about my faith on TV.

“Obviously the devil doesn’t like that, evil doesn’t like that, it will try and tear you down.

“It was something that I was warned about this.”

She added that she “won’t rise” to the backlash

THE FEUD

The feud between the two women came to light when Sacha took to Instagram after she was accused of leaking information about an alleged fling between her ex Ross McCarthy and Erica.

In a long statement, she strongly denied that she was behind the story.

What is Spiritual warfare?

Spiritual warfare is the Christian concept of fighting against the work of preternatural evil forces.

It is based on the belief in evil spirits, or demons, that are said to intervene in human affairs in various ways.

“Apparently I leaked the story on Ross messaging Erica, when we was together, calling her beautiful,” Sacha said.

“I didn’t deny it, that’s true, but I wouldn’t leak it. I don’t care that much.”

Sacha then went on to reveal how she didn’t like Erica because she was a “mean girl” at this week’s reunion.

She continued: “I unfollowed Erica because she wasn’t very nice at the reunion.

“Shouting things about how our season didn’t know how to dress, pulling faces over to Ella and whispering things about people.

“She seemed a really mean girl. Had nothing to do with Ross.”

ERICA HITS BACK

Yesterday, Erica hit back at Sacha with a video of herself in her bikini.

As she pulled various poses in her two piece on the beach, she took a swipe at her nemesis and wrote: “Imagine thinking we have beef and I’m just like this.”

Things have gone from bad to worse between the two brides, who appeared on different seasons of MAFS.

We previously revealed that Erica Roberts has been speaking to two of the grooms on the show.

She had enjoyed a kiss with Kieran Chapman but was in contact with Ross, who was coupled up with Sacha on the social experiment.

Mafs couples that have stood the test of time

Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.

The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.

Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.

Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.

Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”

Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.

Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.

“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.

“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’

“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”

Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.

Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.

They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.

Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
