Inside Stacey Solomon’s £8m business portfolio as she eyes ‘world domination’ with her very own production company

STACEY Solomon is a powerhouse.

The 35-year-old went from being an X Factor runner-up, aged 19, to one of the most recognisable faces in the UK – and she has an impressive business portfolio to back it up.

Alongside husband Joe Swash and their five children, she will star in a fly on the wall documentary series on BBC in spring this year[/caption]

The mum-of-five has an estimated net worth of £5 million and has already ventured into the world of fashion, beauty, chat shows, reality TV and social media advertisement.

But her latest business is in the “television programme production activities”, according to Companies House

Stacey set up Zach Leighton and Rex Productions Limited towards the end of last year, around the same time she cut ties with fast fashion label InTheStyle.

Brand and culture expert Nick Ede believes that Stacey is eyeing world domination, and estimates her impressive business portfolio could be valued around £8 million in the next few years “with the way she is going”.

“Stacey has become such a massive star and she’s done it so well,” Nick exclusively tells Fabulous.

“She’s a huge name in the UK.

“I think she has a long term goal to be a legacy for helping people to live fabulous lives – and help them feel and look good while doing it.

“It’s not about the money for Stacey, it’s about longevity and legacy.”

While it’s currently unclear what Stacey’s exact plans for this company are, which is named after her sons, it’s likely related to the new documentary she has coming out.

Stacey and husband Joe Swash, 43, have opened up their home for a new fly on the wall documentary in spring 2025, which will be aired by BBC.

She dubbed it a “very new adventure” on Instagram at the end of last year, writing: “We’ve been so nervous and excited to share this. Here is us. All of us.

“In 2024 we opened up our home and made a series about our lives, family, work and everything in between. It was a huge leap into the unknown and it’s been an absolute whirlwind making it.

“But last year as a family, we decided to say yes to more and do things we’d never done. We have spoken about making a documentary for a long time – lots of you have asked to – so here we go.”

The show will air on BBC and be titled, Stacey and Joe.

“I think that she will be looking at how Reese Witherspoon has become such a brilliant role model and media mogul,” Nick predicts.

“Reese’s TV production company has worked with Stacey and could propel her to global superstardom which she deserves.”

Belle and Rose Ltd… and other beauty ventures

In February last year, Stacey set up her own beauty company named after her daughters, with plans to sell beauty products and tools in “specialised stores”.

According to Nick, this business has the potential to bank her £1.5 million in its first year of trading.

Stacey clearly developed an appetite for the beauty industry after investing in haircare brand Rehab in October 2023.

That investment has gone from strength-to-strength, having landed in Boots and luxury department store Selfridges earlier this month, and is a solid feature on her Instagram page.

Rehab’s hero products will include Shampoo and Conditioner Sheets (£48), Dose 1.0 Hair Oil Capsules (£26), Dose 0 Matcha Scalp Hair Oil (£26) and Vital Hair Brush (£16).

“Stacey is taking the approach that many Hollywood stars – like Eva Longoria and Jessica Alba – do well, and that’s to diversify,” Nick comments.

“She’s is not only making more TV shows, but also expanding her lifestyle products,”

“People love her personal style and her great approach to home and beauty.”

Mum-fluencing

Nick estimates that Stacey can make around £25,000 per social media post – particularly thanks to her ‘trad wife’ content.

She often showcases herself doing DIY around the house or arts and crafts with her kids, like a typical trad wife.

It’s no secret that a successful social media business can help bank celebs and normal folk millions of pounds.

With a whopping six million followers on Instagram, Stacey easily rakes in over 300,000 likes per post.

A lot of Stacey’s content is filmed at her £1.2 million home, Pickle Cottage, which keeps overheads down.

She uses platforms like Instagram and TikTok to promote her various homeware ranges with Asda, as well as the gardeners, home detoxers and furniture brands she works closely with to keep the property running.

She also has a broadcast channel on Instagram with over 120,000 members, whereby she shares voicenotes and videos about her various DIY and organisation projects.

More recently, Stacey has showcased her project turning the Pickle Cottage utility room into a pink paradise.

Television Personality

While Stacey’s beauty and fashion career earn her cash in the background, she’s arguably best known for being a television personality.

In 2009, she auditioned for the sixth series of The X Factor and went on to land third place behind Olly Murs and Joe McElderry.

She went on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! the following year and was crowned Queen of the Jungle.

Her earnings reportedly started significantly climbing from 2012, which has boosted her estimated net worth to a cool £5 million.

Sort Your Life Out has aired for five seasons and even won an NTA in 2024[/caption]

Stacey became part of the judging panel for ITV2’s Top Dog Model, took part in the second series of The Jump in 2015 and appeared several times as a guest Loose Women panelist throughout summer 2016.

It was soon announced, after immense fan reaction, that she would be a regular panelist on the ITV daytime show.

In 2021, Stacey announced on Instagram that the BBC had commissioned her to present home-decluttering series Sort Your Life Out, which has gone on to air five seasons and even won an NTA in 2024.

She’s also been the face of Stacey Solomon’s Crafty Christmas in 2022 and 2023, and was commissioned by ITV for a series of Stacey Solomon’s Renovation Rescue in 2024.

BBC Factual announced on New Year’s Day that it has commissioned Stacey & Joe for this spring where the couple have “opened their doors to invite viewers into the heart of Pickle Cottage”. It was filmed during the summer and autumn of 2024.

“She dominates our screens with her TV appearances,” Nick says. “She’s building an empire that’s going to make her a lot of money but also build a legacy for her kids and for her own personal brand.”
