It is reported that during the Women’s Championship match between Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae, the television screen turned dark. According to a report, the broadcasting of the match had to be paused because Stratton suffered a wardrobe malfunction, as her top slipped off while the show was on. The championship match was being taken place in Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
Although international viewers accessing the event through Netflix did not face this interruption. The unedited clip of the wardrobe malfunction remained on Netflix, allowing the match to proceed without interruption for its audience.
Immediate response from broadcasting channels
USA Network, which airs SmackDown live, has swiftly cut down the clip where the wardrobe malfunction incident took place. This has been done to prevent the mishap from being aired. The blackout took place briefly and the match resumed on the television channel right after.
Stratton was at the edge of the ring, trying to pull a move off her opponent LeRae when this incident occurred. Despite the mishap, Stratton has been successful in taking down her opponent LeRae. However, she got beat up by Nia Jax in the next match.

Even when the main broadcasting channel paused the show midway, an unaltered version is available on Netflix. The streaming platform aired the entire show disregarding the wardrobe malfunction of Stratton. This is not the first time Stratton has faced a wardrobe malfunction. Back in 2024, she faced a similar incident where she had to cover her privates because the clothing was ripped off her. Despite the temporary setbacks, Stratton has been a prominent figure in WWE.
