How Vegeta could evolve further and surpass Beerus
The hints for Vegeta’s future evolutions are not products of complete imagination. The information has already been provided in the series, and amateur sleuths have found a way Vegeta can gain immense power without using the Ultra Ego power (it has many flaws).
The Ultra Ego form may make it seem like he will grow strong to an unlimited extent, but this is not true. He does gain strength when he gets hurt, but such strength is not sustainable, not to mention he cannot fight for long durations in that manner.
This kind of eye-for-eye combat is not feasible in the long run. Vegeta might have to use his Berserker powers when needed, but for him to grow stronger on a base level, he needs to fully master the Hakai energy.
The Hakai energy in Dragon Ball is exclusive to the Gods of Destruction for a reason: it can erase something from the very fundamental level and truly ‘destroy’ it. This will already push Vegeta to a fearsome level, but that is not the end. He needs to be even stronger in order to surpass Beerus, an immortal cosmic being.

The Saiyan instincts are unmatched in battle, as can be seen from the battles of Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan. It is something engrained in their very being. Without the need for any thoughts, the mastered Hakai could be used like a limb in combat in the Primal Hakai Instinct form.
Another key part that is unique to Vegeta is his increase in power when he is enraged. Even someone as naive and innocent as Goku is turned into a completely snarky and arrogant individual when they both fuse together.
Vegeta dared to fight Beerus in his SSJ2 form, essentially exceeding it. This rage could be used to fuel the Primal Hakai form. It could lead him to grow stronger in battle without taking blows, being an upgraded version of the Ultra Ego form.
