THE family of a woman who died after being struck by a car in Co Down have confirmed her funeral details.
Isobel Murphy, 80, died after she was struck by a car while walking on a road in Co Down, on February 22.
The incident occurred on the Ballygowan Road area in Comber at 4.45pm.
The local woman sadly died at the scene.
Family members have now paid tribute to the woman who will be “loved always”.
Mrs Murphy has been remembered as the “dearly loved mother” of Samuel, Jonathan, and Helen.
She was also described as a “loving grandmother”.
Mrs Murphy is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Thomas.
Her funeral mass will take place on Friday morning, February 28.
The service will be held in Second Presbyterian Church Comber at 10.45am.
She will be laid in her final resting place during a burial at Comber Cemetery.
The family have requested no flowers but have asked donations to be made, if desired, to Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.
In a heartbreaking tribute the family added: “Remembered and loved always by the entire family circle.”
And tributes have also been paid to Mrs Murphy.
One wrote: “Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her brother Herbert and his wife Joan and family. Peace, perfect peace.”
Another added: “Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her brother John and sister in law Margaret.

Anyone with information on Saturday’s fatal collision is asked to contact the PSNI.
In an appeal they said: “Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Collision Investigation Unit continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
“Anyone with information or relevant footage is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference number 1177 22/02/25, or submit information online.”
