The interaction became quite popular, with fans talking about just how iconic the actor is. However, many may not know the reason why Williams was comfortable enough with Ford to joke about the moment or the fact that they are on an excellent show together.
Ford and Williams have collaborated together on Shrinking, which is set to release its highly anticipated third season. Providing a brand new approach to showcasing therapists on television, the series presents a refreshing take on comedy, starring How I Met Your Mother’s Jason Segel at its center.
At the same time, Ford plays quite an iconic character in the series, being an absolute mood more often than he is an older and wiser figure. While fans know the actor for playing serious or somewhat charming roles, he is very rarely seen as comic relief, a role he frequently plays in real life.
Considering this, the series is excellent for fans who love Ford, and his performance in this is memorable in the best ways possible. Additionally, it has also been doing very well with critics, having a rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Fans believe Shrinking deserves a lot more love
On top of Shrinking being an excellent series, anyone who has seen it is madly in love with its premise. Specifically talking about Harrison Ford’s performance in it, many have stated that his performance is being seriously slept on by the general public.
One might even take it a step further and say that every step that Ford took in his professional life was so that he could star in this series. Calling it some of the best work in his career, many believe that the performance is magnificent in every definition of the word.
Considering just how highly viewers are talking about the series, it begs the question of why it isn’t more popular. One fan answered this as well, and it brings up a previous pattern for Shrinking’s distributor. Apple TV has gained somewhat of a reputation for making some of the best television shows out there but completely fumbling the marketing processes.

Apple seriously needs to start advertising their stuff more. I’m glad they did so for Severance recently and that’s got a massive boost now, but there’s more gems on there still waiting for that big moment.

Every episode he has the best moments on the show.
Ford has always had great comic timing (Han Solo character, Working Girl), but fell down into the silo of fierce hero roles and rarely had the chance to mine genuine laughs as he does on Shrinking.

This leads to peak television being left unseen by the eyes of the general public. If this strategy were to be changed, the third season of the beloved series could get the attention and recognition it deserves. Additionally, fans could also see Ford deliver one of the best performances of his career.
