ONE of Married At First Sight’s most popular contestants has called out the reality series after being snubbed from the reunion episode.
The explosive follow-up, which aired on E4 last night, saw a slew of cast members from across the years team up for one very rowdy dinner.

The Married At First Sight alum braving the reunion included Adam Nightingale, Amy Kenyon, Holly Ditchfield, Lacey Martin, Nathan Campbell, Kieran Chapman and Kristina Goodsell.
They were joined by other series nine contestants Hannah Norburn, Orson Nurse, Sacha Jones and Sionnain Carmichael.
In addition, a number of 2023 stars will also be in attendance, with the likes of Ella Morgan, Erica Roberts, Tasha Jay, Paul Liba, Matt Pilmoor and Shona Manderson.
Lacey Martin came in for the harshest criticism after her ex partner Nathan Campbell claimed she wanted a “showmance”.
Meanwhile, Hannah Norburn was the first to break down in tears as her arch enemy Holly Ditchfield walked through the door while Erica shared the news that she had kissed Kieran in Edinburgh.
In a more romantic moment, Matt surprised Shona with a “promise ring”.
There were some notable absences and, despite the bulk of the attendees coming from the 2024 season, Emma Barnes missed out.
The Bristol lass swiftly became a fan-favourite last year as her rollercoaster relationship with Caspar played out.
Yet after being snubbed of a reunion invite, she took to Instagram to post a signature witty video.
It saw the TV show play out on a screen behind her with a cut out of Emma’s head.
It said in a cartoon voice: “I am having a party in there its gonna be brilliant.”
Mimicking another separate voice she said: “Do you want to come,” as the first voice said: “Maybe.”
The first voice then said: “You can’t cause you’re NFI,” before it explained: “Not flipping invited.”
Emma posted the scenes with the caption: “Heheh xx”
Mafs couples that have stood the test of time
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’
“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
Gardener Caspar did go on to find love since leaving the show.
On social media he wrote: “Who knew that 2024 would find me the love of my life?
“So happy to have you in my life and moving in to live with me next month. Happy New Year, 2025 is looking amazing.”
Emma previously told Yahoo of her reunion omission and said: “They didn’t need me anymore. I still don’t know why I was cut.
“There were some storylines that they wanted to follow, the producers, and yeah, someone must have taken my seat, right, so someone got called up to get back on there. But yeah, not me!”
She added: “There was certainly an uproar from a lot of my friends that I wasn’t gonna be there — I don’t know whether that’s just my friends though!
“I know I’m a big personality and I definitely could have brought some laughs to the table… It’s a shame.”
NOT INVOLVED
As well as Emma, Polly, Luke and Ross from last year’s show also missed out.
Yet after the new show, fans were quick to slam show bosses for bringing series eight stars back for yet another reunion.
Yet Emma might not have missed out too much – as one star revealed the boozy scenes took three days to film.
