Plumas National Forest Seeks Public Input on Grant Proposal

The Plumas National Forest is looking for your input. The Forest is submitting a grant proposal to the California Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division (OHMVR), and they want the community’s thoughts before they move forward.

To gather feedback, the Forest will host a community meeting on Tuesday, February 25, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Quincy Library, located at 445 Jackson St. in Quincy. Recreation staff will be there to present the preliminary grant application and hear what the public has to say before they submit the application on March 2.

Starting March 4, you can review the Forest’s grant proposal and provide comments online. The public comment period will run through May 5, 2025, and can be accessed at https://olga.ohv.parks.ca.gov/egrams_ohmvr.

This is a great chance to have your voice heard and help shape the future of recreation in the Plumas National Forest.
