LIVESTREAMING: Vetting of Minister of State-designate for Public Sector Reforms

President John Dramani Mahama’s deputy ministerial nominees are set to face the Appointments Committee of Parliament for vetting as part of the process to confirm their appointments to various ministries.

The committee will begin the vetting on Monday, February 24, and continue through to Thursday, February 27, 2025. The sessions will start at 9:30 a.m. each day at Committee Rooms 1 and 2 in the Administration Block.

Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba, nominated as Minister of State for Public Sector Reforms, is scheduled to appear before the committee today.

Also appearing before the committee are three deputy ministerial nominees: Thomas Nyarko Ampem, nominated for Deputy Minister of Finance; Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi, nominated for Deputy Minister of Interior; and Sampson Ahi, nominated for Deputy Minister of Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry.

The vetting will assess the qualifications and competencies of the 13 nominees to determine their readiness to serve in their designated roles.
