Newcastle 4 Nottingham Forest 3: Toon score four times in 11 minutes but almost pegged back in very nervy second half

NEWCASTLE boosted their Champions League hopes with a comeback win over top-four rivals Nottingham Forest.

The Magpies went down to an early goal after Callum Hudson-Odoi caught out an out of position Nick Pope.

But the hosts responded emphatically with Lewis Miley equalising in the 23rd minute.

Fast forward 11 minutes and Newcastle were 4-1 up thanks Jacob Murphy and a double from Alexander Isak.

Forest looked shellshocked but they regrouped at half-time and found a way back into the match after Nikola Milenkovic found the back of the net.
