Juliana Pasquarosa Fires Back at Suggestion Grant Ellis ‘Settled’ for Her

Juliana Pasquarosa has no time for haters who are upset about her happily ever after with Grant Ellis.

Grant, 31, proposed to Juliana, 28, during The Bachelor season 29 finale on Monday, March 24, selecting her over runner-up Litia Garr — who has said she was blindsided by his decision. Since the episode aired, Juliana has taken to social media to respond to critics.

“There’s no way he gave Juliana a journal too right?!?” one fan captioned a clip of Juliana journaling ahead of her and Grant’s engagement via TikTok on Thursday, March 28. The caption was a reference to Litia, 31, mentioning how Grant gifted her a journal to write down her feelings about their Bachelor journey during Monday’s After the Final Rose.

Juliana fired back in post’s comments section, writing, “He sure did.”

The Massachusetts native reacted to another comment left underneath one of her own TikTok posts from March 19, in which she teased how her family “keeps asking me what happens at the end.”

Underneath the lighthearted upload, a TikTok user claimed that Grant only picked her because she seemingly had sex with him in the fantasy suites, while Litia had expressed to Grant that she was not comfortable being intimate on the show. “Litia is way too classy and good for him. He settled for you 😳,” the user stated. “He wanted to pick her up until the last minute.”

Juliana clapped back at the not-so-nice comment on Thursday, writing, “So you think after a year of being celibate he just ‘gave it up’ for me? I’d think again gf & also … get a hobby. … That’s a fun narrative to believe if you want to.”

Like some fans, Litia believed she was going to be Grant’s final pick during Monday’s finale given their close connection and the fact he told her “I love you” first. She called their breakup a “shock” while chatting with host Jesse Palmer during Monday’s AFR, claiming Grant told her she was his “No. 1 emotional connection” and that he could “stop the show” after deciding she was The One.

“I asked you that night, ‘Please don’t make promises to me. I know what I signed up for, and it’s really gonna hurt me in the end if you change your mind,’” Litia told Grant when he joined her and Jesse, 46, on stage. “And do you remember what you said? ‘My mind’s not gonna change.’ You were scared that if you didn’t tell me how you felt that I was gonna leave, and you couldn’t stand to lose me. So every week, you continued to raise the stakes, and you went out of bounds.”

Though Grant apologized to his ex on-air, he later told Us Weekly that he “didn’t align with” some of the claims Litia made against him during the finale. “I let her speak her truth and her piece. I’m not gonna sit up there and argue with her on stage about what she thought I said,” he exclusively shared after the episode.

He added, “I’m not gonna argue, I just have to accept whatever the conditions are and apologize and let her feel how she feels because she’s in a tough situation and she’s hurt. I understand.”

Juliana, for her part, told Us that she and Litia are “two different individuals and we have to go through this process very uniquely and very true to who we are. And I wish her well.”
