The two had an incestuous scene in the third season of The White Lotus (which is airing currently), and it was quite a challenging scene to shoot between the two actors. Nivola revealed that he would have passed out if it had gone on for a while!

In an interview with Elite Daily, Sam Nivola, who portrays the role of Lochlan Ratliff, talked about the surprising incestuous s*x scene that took place between him and his on-screen brother, Saxon Ratliff.
The scene involved the two brothers kissing each other, and a later scene where Nivola’s on-screen character is jerking his brother off. The scene lasted for quite a long time, and it was indeed a shocking event in the series.
During his interview, Patrick Schwarzenegger’s co-star revealed that filming the s*x scene was quite difficult and, at one point, exhausting. The actor was doing a one-armed plank while filming because of the nature of that scene.
I didn’t realize how exhausting it is to have fake s*x. I was sort of doing a one-armed plank, with my other hand jerking off Patrick. It was like doing weight lifting with your right arm while you do a plank, and it lasted for such a long time.
He further revealed that there were some retakes, which made the process even more difficult.
[It] took a couple hours to film. At one point, I was on the verge of passing out.
Regarding the controversial nature of that scene, the world was quite involved in the drama unfolding in The White Lotus, and they were somewhat in disbelief about it.
Naturally, Sam Nivola had to clear out the finer details of the incestuous plotline unfolding in the show and how Patrick Schwarzenegger fit into that whole picture.

Well, The White Lotus decided to go one step further when they showed a gay incestuous scene between Saxon and Lochlan Ratliff. In an interview with Variety, Sam Nivola talked about the incestuous relationship between the two and how he thinks it stemmed.
I think it comes from a sense of insecurity. He really looks up to both of his siblings, not from the point of view of a physical attraction. It’s more curiosity, and trying to figure out which kind of person he is going to become.
He further continued,
He tries to connect with him in whatever way he can. I think Lochlan is a people pleaser, who will try to get people to like him by any means necessary.
Incestuous or not, what we can say for certain is that the world is loving The White Lotus and is waiting for more drama from the guests living in this resort.
