Horror moment Scots brute caught on camera throwing and choking his ex-girlfriend’s dog

A BRUTE was caught on camera throwing and choking his ex-girlfriend’s dog.

Distressing footage shows Josh Whitehead, 31, grabbing bulldog Alfie by the ear before tossing him out of Chloe Wiltshire’s lounge.

Chloe, 28, had entrusted her then partner to look after Alfie while visiting her cancer-stricken gran in England.

But she was horrified to discover the attack after checking one of her home’s indoor security cameras while away.

The video showed how Whitehead had casually made himself a cup of tea then pulled her dog-cam from its power supply — not realising he was still being filmed.

Chloe, of Balloch, Dunbartonshire, revealed: “He pulls out the doggy camera and then does what he does.

“You can hear Alfie making a lot of noise.

“It’s horrendous, you can hear him struggling to breathe.

“You can see the anger in Josh’s face.”

Later she confronted Whitehead. But she said: “It was just lie after lie.

“He said he pulled that camera out to make a cup of tea. The cup of tea was already made, so he’s lying.”

Chloe had previously grown suspicious after leaving two-year-old Alfie in his care while on holiday in Portugal.

The shop worker recalled: “I was on a video chat with him and I thought Alfie looked so sad and depressed.

“He said, ‘Oh, he’s just missing you’. Something was obviously going on then.

“My bath panel is cracked. I asked him what happened. He claimed he was bathing Alfie and slipped.

“Now, thinking back, I wonder if he actually flung him into that bath.
“Everything just adds up. It breaks my heart knowing how long it’s gone on.”

She later alerted cops and Whitehead admitted breaching the Animal Health and Welfare Act on February 7.

But he escaped with a £400 fine at Dumbarton Sheriff Court earlier this month.

Blasting the sentence, Chloe said: “What he got wasn’t enough. He’s still allowed to own animals.”

Chloe said she has been left “traumatised” and has struggled to eat and sleep.

Slamming her ex, she added: “He had me, all my friends and family fooled because he was this nice, lovely guy.”
