Jared Padalecki shares an update on filming for The Boys season 5. The Prime Video series has introduced a plethora of new characters since its original season debut in 2019. One of said characters was played by former Supernatural star Jensen Ackles, who played Soldier Boy throughout the duration of season 3. Because of Ackles’ close work with actor Padalecki on Supernatural, which was also created by Eric Kripke, there had long been rumors that Padalecki would make an appearance on The Boys. His presence in season 5 was officially confirmed in February.
