Doctor Who is setting up some huge moments in season 15. Ncuti Gatwa took over the role of the Doctor on Christmas Day 2023. The special episode of Doctor Who that featured his regeneration was the third and final entry in a special set of stories starring David Tennant, and showcasing Russell T Davies writing after his return as showrunner. And within that short span of time, RTD set a number of events in motion that are still influencing where the Doctor and the TARDIS will end up next.
