Hulk Hogan’s family has always drawn the same amount of attention as his career itself, all thanks to the popular reality TV show, Hogan Knows Best. Following the show’s ending, the Hogan family has gone their separate ways, with Hogan and Linda divorcing and apparently Brooke Hogan cutting both of her parents out of her life.
Recently, Linda Hogan drew attention when she posted an alarming video on her social media, accusing the former WWE star of wrecking their family. In the video currently going viral on social media, Linda is sharing ‘her side’ of the story.
Linda Hogan accused Hulk Hogan of destroying their family
When it comes to celebrities, their lives are just as attention-drawing as their professional lives. Well, Linda Hogan certainly knows how to draw attention by revealing her family feud to the public. In a video posted on her social media, now going viral across the internet, Linda revealed the ‘mess’ her family has been in.
Linda was married to Hulk Hogan from 1983 to 2009, and shares two children with her ex-husband, Brooke and Nick. In the tearful monologue, she reflected on her life post-divorce in the tearful video:
I’m okay with most things, but today, something hit. It’s been 15—or longer—years since I left Hulk Hogan and my family is in the worst mess.
The 65-year-old went on to accuse the WWE champ, real name Terry Bollea, of being a complete liar and a s*x addict who cares nothing about the family, placing the majority of her life being a disaster on her ex. Also citing him as the reason why their daughter, Brooke Shields, has stopped talking to either of them, Linda said:
Brooke doesn’t talk to us. She’s had twins. She got married, she didn’t tell us… She had a huge fight with Terry. I don’t know how that reflected onto me, but she cut me out, too. I haven’t talked to her for seven years. Almost eight years now.
The reality TV star further stated that she has given ‘Terry’ several opportunities to come back, but he has never reciprocated her feelings. Linda also revealed that she still has a good relationship with their son, Nick Hogan. While she enjoys living alone, Hogan has been married twice since their divorce, to Jannifer McDaniel from 2010 to 2021 and Sky Daily, since 2023 (via E! News).
Brooke Hogan responds to her mother’s claims and estrangement from family
Brooke Hogan has been married to Steven Oleksy since 2022 and only recently welcomed twins in January. While she often uses her social media to share moments from her life, the 36-year-old rarely speaks about her famous family anymore.
However, following the tearful monologue her mother posted on social media, blaming Hulk Hogan for their estrangement, Brooke has been forced to speak out. Calling her long revelation only the tip of a very large iceberg, she revealed that she has been “extremely verbally and mentally abused since childhood,” which would “frequently turn physical.”
Although she did not reveal who the perpetrators of this abuse were, she revealed this vicious pattern robbed her of the self-esteem or confidence she had been pretending to have since her early days amid the spotlight. She said,
I’ve repeatedly held my hand out to help them, only to have them pull me into the darkness with them. I’ve set boundaries that were not respected, and at this point, I cannot do it anymore…. Cycles must be broken, I feel like God has given me the strength to do so.
Brooke also revealed that the decision to cut her family off has nothing to do with one single person, but she has completely separate reasons. Although she wrote that her heart breaks for the trauma and pain her mother has undergone, she stated that she now wants to take control and end the chain.
